Salesforce has new cool feature the Lighting Experience Configuration Converter home tab in Spring ‘20 Release. This tool helps you prepare your org for Lightning Experience by streamlining or automating common transition tasks. The new Home tab is your home base for the transition tool. Tiles summarize the status of each tab in the Lightning Experience Configuration Converter. Kick off scans of individual tabs and find out what’s left to do. You can easily track your progress as you reduce the number of necessary fixes and change each tab’s status icon to green. Start to scans of individual features, dig into customized scan results, and find out what’s left to do.
How does it work?
The Lightning Experience Configuration Converter is a standalone tool that lives outside of Salesforce. We recommend that you run it in a sandbox or Developer Edition org first. Please follow the steps below, I am going to test this in Sandbox first.
Go to the Lightning Experience Configuration Converter link https://lightning-configuration.salesforce.com/home.xhtml | Click Log In to Sandbox | Choose a Username (If you have more than one) | Lightning Experience Configuration Converter Home page is open and you can Impact Overview.
Take action on one or more items that need to be fixed before you transition to Lightning. Follow the screenshots below.
Once you finish the scan, you will receive an email to see your results and recommendations.
Note: For full details, check out “Manage All Lightning Experience Configuration Converter Tabs from One Place (Beta)” (https://releasenotes.docs.salesforce.com/en-us/spring20/release-notes/rn_lex_lecc_home.htm) in the Salesforce Spring ‘20 Release Notes.
