It’s frustrating when we open any object, recently view list view open automatically. Now salesforce has provided a solution, that user can pin their favourite list view, when they open the object favourite pin list view open instead of recently list view. Salesforce has added a little pin icon next to the list view. It’s also top favourite feature of lightning user.
See below screenshot, when you open the object, its’ by default pin view

See below screenshot, it’s indicated a pinned list. To pin a different list, select the different list view and pin it instead of another
